Havel's death announced on Facebook

Following an unconfirmed Twitter message saying that Havel had died, his secretary, Vladimir Hanzel, posted on Facebook: "Vaclav Havel died this morning at 10:15 a.m.." Once upon a time the news would have been carried first by the world's wire services.
